The menu of the sugar detox is nicely adapted to satisfy all of your needs. During the 7 days, you are not allowed to consume any carbohydrates, including fruits. Fortunately, you won’t feel deprived, you will not experience cravings and you don’t need to consume boring and bland meals.

The menu

• 1st day

For breakfast, consume spinach and eggs baked with cheese. As a snack, you can eat tamari almonds. Eat green salad, a sweet pepper and low carb cheese for lunch. As an afternoon snack, you can have three boiled eggs. For dinner, eat spinach, baked stuffed chicken and a salad with tomatoes, cucumbers and feta cheese. Consume stevia, ¼ teaspoon of vanilla extract and ¼ low fat ricotta cheese.

• 2nd day

For breakfast, consume sun dried tomatoes and feta cheese. As a snack, you can eat tamari almonds again and for lunch, eat spinach, left over chicken and peppers. As an afternoon snack, eat raw vegetables with a spinach deep. For dinner, consume Asian turkey lettuce cups, peppers with mushrooms and sauté some spinach. As a snack, have one cheese stick.

• 3rd day

For breakfast, drink a protein smoothie, but it should not contain protein powder. As a snack, eat only the whites of 3 boiled eggs. For lunch, eat the turkey cups from the day before and a green salad with olive oil, vinegar, tomatoes, cucumbers and sweet pepper. As a snack consume frittata with cheese. For dinner, have vegetable soup and grill chicken and for a snack a vanilla chia pudding with no added sugar.

• 4th day

For breakfast eat frittata and for a snack one cheese stick. For lunch prepare a chicken salad and as a snack you can eat celery and nut butter. For dinner, eat pot chicken, zucchini and bean stew and for snack, consume ½ cup of cottage cheese and cucumbers.

• 5th day

As a breakfast eat frittata and as a snack vegetables with a spicy Mediterranean dip. For lunch, consume soup, mixed greens, tomatoes, sweet peppers and cucumbers with olive oil and vinegar. Then, you can eat cucumbers, tomato and feta cheese as an afternoon snack. For dinner, eat Italian green beans, bread and cheese sticks that are low on carbs. As a dinner snack, consume chia pudding with no sugar content.

• 6th day

For breakfast, eat 1 serving of egg muffins with no crust. As a snack, take ½ cup of cottage cheese or ricotta cheese with stevia or vanilla extract. For lunch, eat green beans and bread sticks with cheese. As a snack in the afternoon, eat raw vegetables with spicy Mediterranean dip. For dinner, consume zucchini noodles, garlic, chicken drumsticks and lemon. As a snack, you can eat hummus and egg whites of three boiled eggs.

• 7th day

For breakfast, consume mushrooms, sautéed spinach and scrambled eggs. As a snack, you can consume ½ cup of cottage cheese. For lunch, eat zucchini noodles and vegetable soup. As an afternoon snack, eat tamari almonds. For dinner, consume green beans and chicken drumsticks. As a snack, eat vanilla chia pudding with no sugar.

The shopping list for the detox week

• Eggs and meats

You need to buy 3 dozen eggs, 1 lbs. turkey, 8 oz. turkey or pork sausage, 8 chicken breasts and 8 drumsticks chicken.

• Dairy products

You need to buy the following dairy products: 8 oz. of mozzarella or gouda cheese, 2 cups of feta cheese, 2 cups of parmesan, 1 pack of shredded mozzarella, 1 pack of cheese sticks, 1 pack of shredded cheddar, 12 oz of no fat Greek yogurt, 1 carton of almond milk with no sugar, 2 packs of cream cheese and 16 oz of ricotta or cottage cheese.

• Vegetables

You will need: 1 head of cauliflower, 1 celery, 8 zucchini, 6 cucumbers, 1 bag of green beans, green onions, 1 pound of sweet peppers, 8 oz. of mushrooms, 1 pound of green beans, garlic, 2 white onions, 18 cups of spinach, 1 red onion and 8 lemons.

• Condiments

You will need 1 jar of almonds, homemade tomato sauce, parsley, homemade salsa sauce, basil, homemade hummus, cilantro, olive oil, 2 cans of chicken broth low in sodium, vinegar, soy sauce, stevia or vanilla extract, seeds and sesame oil for the turkey cups and 1 jar of dried tomatoes.
